Cheers Charon, and agreed that a bit of planning may be worthwhile.

Bashnag votes to bash some people, that is all.

I kinda figured that would be Bash's take on things. Yes, planning is in order. I was thinking maybe we get in through the gate with a little gold and a charm spell from Kwelzucht (thus the specific question about spells helping with that). Fighting our way in really isn't an option due to what we need to accomplish inside - the entirety of the city would be after us if we fought our way in.

So does anyone want to expound on Ullo's suggestion of a spell to help them talk their way through the gate?

Apparently not?

Another month with no response from the rest of the party. It feels like everyone else has lost interest here.

I know me, you and Maxwell are still around but the rest seem to have vanished. Can't say I'm super surprised but a bit disappointed as we seemed to be doing well with this one.

Still here, still alive. Passion for playing DnD has admittedly waned since the main group me and Charon are in are on month 9 of a hiatus now.

I'm still poking around a bit. Initial thoughts were that Gnutmyx would take a back seat on the social interactions here, and I tried to telegraph that in my last post, but I may need to rethink that if we're not getting much traction otherwise.

A cursory glance over Gnutmyx' sheet doesn't give much to help here, but I'll give it some more thought if there's a way he can contribute.

Essentially I was thinking Charm Person, which only Kwelzucht has. Ullo, of course, doesn't know that, so the question was posed to have Kwelzucht volunteer it.

Throw at a point (ranged touch Vs AC 5 assuming visible floor/wall within 20ft, if used in some more elaborate fashion, DM decides AC). Where it hits, 10ft radius sphere of slow time occurs. The duration is 1 minute outside the sphere to 6 seconds inside the sphere. You can trigger this on yourself as a move action.
So basically if you're inside the sphere you can do something in 6 seconds that would normally take a full minute? What's the duration of the effect? If you trigger it on yourself, the sphere moves with you, I presume?

No. Think of it more like this.

If you are inside the sphere, 6 seconds passes. If you are outside it, one minute passes.

So for example, you could throw it at the guards on the gate and run past. From their perspective you'd be moving ten times faster than normal (6 seconds passed for them but you moved 600ft). Or in combat, the person inside experiences one combat round while you have ten. So you could take ten attacks on someone and from their perspective you attacked ten times in one turn. Or if an ally was down and bleeding out. You could throw it at them, meaning across ten rounds of combat for you, they experience one and thus only lose 1 hp.

There's probably more you could do with it, those are simply some examples I thought of. But the point is, inside the sphere, the 6 seconds for you is very real and thus you can still only do something that takes 6 seconds.

The radius is static. You throw at a point and essentially create a fixed bubble of slow time.

Gotcha. Anything on the duration of the sphere once activated?
