Nice to meet you all!

As I did post in the Area 1 thread, I'm part of the other group that Charon DMs for in the online table top sim. I don't know if Charon ever mentioned it, I was the one whose Duskblade got killed off early in the 3.5 campaign (which is similar in many ways to the one currently on hold in Area 2), and I'm currently playing a factotum. This is my first time participating in a forum based environment though, but I'm looking forward to it.

How did you get into RPGs and what kind of systems (besides 3.5) have you played so far?

My interest in RPG's is pretty much thanks to Charon. I'd never really played any until Charon put together a group to play Hoard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat (both 5e; I played a Paladin Half-Elf named Galathar), which is pretty much the only other system beyond 3.5e that I've played. We have dabbled in a few other RPG games, most notably Vampire The Masquerade and Arkham Asylum, but that was only a couple of sessions.
