Not sure what the hell Discord is or why it's worth popping in? Maybe you already have What's App and Facebook Messenger and Snapchat?
Well, first off, it serves as a group chat room, much like our old irc room from back in the day. You can use the desktop client and/or mobile app to chat with the rest of us hanging around in there. We even have a dicebot on standby with the usual dnd syntax so you can roll 4d6 drop with ease. You can also spin off your own room if you want to just chat with say the people in your current game, like a real time OOC thread or if you want a public room to chat about a specific topic or a private room to run a game in. Naturally you can also chat one on one with members too.
It also allows you to easily share files. Such as pdfs, for character sheets, for example. What a useful feature. :)
Finally it's also possible to spin off a voice chat room, which will be useful if we ever get any live games going.
Simply put, it's the old irc Lucky Golem with modern bells and whistles.
