Yeah, looks like they found us - because dndgamer.net now redirects to this forum.

I'm at work now, tonight I'll upgrade the protection against spambots registering on the forum.

Let's see how reCaptcha v2 works against those bots.

Thanks Niilo, although that sounds like you just threw down the gauntlet to the spam bots. They may very well accept that challenge! (they're pesky things)

As long as the spam bots aren't named Barney Stinson, I think we'll be alright!

Those last two joins feel kinda spambot-ty to me. The one says they're from "Usa", but anybody actually from the US, would have used "USA", not "Usa".

Do we have a question and answer captcha up?
Something a computer struggles to figure out like type dragon without any vowels or write dungeon backwards or put the letters in dice in alphabetical order. Might be more effective, who knows.

More spam accounts... One even managed to get a post in Russian to Charon's personal workspace.

We may still have one more. He's got a Russian link in his information/signature.

The Russian text says something about interior design, so yes. ¬¬

Got another one in Charon's work area. This one also links to something about interior design in his signature, but the rest is all bitcoin garble.

I second the idea for a special question sign up method - I think our old one asked you to spell out the long form of D&D or the like?

I'm also of the idea of throwing all spammers into Hell, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. I third the idea for the special question
